Fabric can be hard to measure so it makes it very easy to skew the results of your measurement comparisons. Please ensure that the garment is completely flat with no wrinkles and be generous with your measurements. Not all fabrics stretch equally. We make products from a multitude of fabric types that range from high stretch to mild/limited stretch. Please keep this in mind when using a comparison garment. If you are using a high stretch garment as your comparison be sure to factor this into your measurement. This will impact your end results.

How to measure tops:

The most effective way to measure and ensure a great fit is to take a shirt you already own and lay it flat. Measure the flat shirt from below the armpit for the chest / width measurement. Measure from the top of the shoulder to the bottom hem to get the length measurement. Compare those measurements against those listed in the chart. Remember that it is hard to measure fabric so account for some error and be conservative.
